I’m delighted to share my online gallery with you.

All of the images you’ll see on these pages have been taken in the last 4 years, a period during which I’ve dug more deeply into the art and craft of photography and and what I hope to convey in a photo.

You’ll find a few different genres here. Lately, my photography has trended toward more detailed images — tighter shots that try to capture the essence of the broader subject.  Very often, these photos highlight textures, lines and patterns. This was less a conscious decision on my part and more a natural evolution to images that I find most pleasing.

… More than 600 of my photos have appeared in online publications in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.  This includes more than 150 photos in the Washington Post, plus a diverse list of media outlets ranging from Arlington Now to the Georgetown Metropolitan.

In addition, I have been pleased to have my work showcased at such venues as the National Institutes of Health, which hosted an eight-piece selection of my photos for three months.  And I am honored that two of my images were selected by the Library of Congress for its permanent online collection documenting the pandemic; another is about to enter the permanent online collection of the Washington, DC, Public Library.

This portfolio will evolve over time, in concert with the growth of my photography.  I hope you will take the journey with me.
